Ciara is geboren!

Wij zijn heel trots om jullie de geboorte te melden van onze dochter Ciara (uitspraak: [kira]).

Ciara werd geboren op 29/5 om 18u07 en weegt 3,580 gram. Ze is 50,5 cm lang en maakt het net zoals haar moeder uitstekend.

Ciara (IPA: /ˈkɪərə/) is een populaire Ierse naam. Het is de vrouwelijke versie van de naam Ciarán, wat "zwart" betekent" in het Iers. De naam bestaat ook in de Engelse versies Keira or Kiera.

Solar Impulse arrives in Brussels

Today I saw the Solar Impulse fly over Grimbergen on its way to Brussels. Solar Impulse is a European long-range solar powered plane project, and hopes to succeed in the first circling of the earth with a piloted fixed-wing aircraft using only solar power.
